Class Description: Enjoy a playful and unhurried blend of breath work and yoga poses, stretching and strengthening the whole body. A broad emphasis on mindfulness is linked thematically with yogic concepts and topics of daily living. Students may discover an abundant sense of well-being as they learn yogic tools they can practice not only in the studio, but in their everyday lives.

Class Levels/Other Information

Gentle Yoga: A slower-paced class with restorative yoga, breathwork, therapeutics and standing poses. For first-timers, pregnancy and those recovering from injuries

Level 1: A gentle introduction focusing on standing poses, breath awareness, shoulder and hip openers, and sun salutations.

Level 2: Deepening practice for students with some yoga experience, greater focus on alignment, beginning inversions and balance poses.

Level 3: An energetic and vigorous flow of poses, sun salutations, inversions and back bends.

Makeups? You can bring or send a guest to a class as your makeup or apply class credit toward an open Still Moving Yoga workshop space (during the term only).
